The sheer craziness of sdcc!
Call me crazy, but a week ago we were starting our San Diego Comic Con 2011 Adventure. How fast a week goes. How much we miss it.
Our view of the director, producer and actors of Cowboys and Aliens. Unfortunately, when we entered what we called “the holding area”, they did not have us fill in seats in order of how we arrived, so people who came very late ended up with excellent seats. We should have been on the first floor.
16 of the 20 “gold bricks” that we ran around and collected (I gave 4 of them away to little kids.) In each gold brick was either a wristband toy or t-shirt, a 7-11 coupon and a pull tab ticket. Pull the tab on the ticket and it either said Sorry, try again or congratulations. None of our boxes had a congratulations ticket. We went to every gold rush event (except 2 and missed getting a gold brick at one of them.) We spent part of Thursday, almost all day Friday and Saturday trying to get bricks. My husband typed up the mother of all blog posts on our Cowboys and Aliens San Diego Comic Con 2011 experience:
